Warm welcome on his arrival in Amritsar; political discussions held at Sharma’s residence

Amritsar: Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was warmly welcomed by BJP leader and prominent Halka North leader Akshay Sharma during his visit to Amritsar. Akshay Sharma welcomed Shri Shekhawat with a floral garland and extended his greetings. During their meeting, several important issues were discussed. Later, Shri Shekhawat also visited Akshay Sharma’s residence.On the occasion, Akshay Sharma said that he shares a very old and close relationship with Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. He said that Shekhawat is not only a senior leader for him but also a father figure and mentor. He added that he has had the opportunity to work under Shekhawat’s guidance for a long time and learn from his political and organisational experience.Akshay Sharma said that every meeting with Shekhawat is an opportunity to learn.

He said that even today, every conversation with Shekhawat gives him new direction and valuable learning.During his Amritsar visit, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat spent some time at Akshay Sharma’s residence. The two discussed Punjab’s current political situation, organisational activities and preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections in detail.Akshay Sharma said that he briefed Shekhawat about the BJP’s organisational activities, public outreach campaigns and grassroots preparations in Halka North as well as across Amritsar. He said that BJP workers are continuously engaging with the people, understanding their concerns and taking the policies and achievements of the Central Government to the public.Akshay Sharma said that the guidance of senior leaders plays an important role in strengthening the organisation. He expressed his gratitude to Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for visiting Amritsar and said that the time spent with him is always memorable and inspiring.The meeting also included discussions on the organisational expansion of the BJP, upcoming political strategy and further strengthening the party in Amritsar.
